    Deviance means that an individual behaves differently from set rules, norms, or social expectations. However, the clear criteria for deviance may vary depending on the situation and culture. Whether a particular action is considered an aberration depends on culture, social customs, legal regulations, etc. On the legal side, criminal behavior can be considered a deviation. To commit a criminal act as defined by law is considered to deviate from social norms and legal standards. Therefore, the clear criteria for deviance can be relative and fluid depending on factors such as culture, society, and law. This can vary with time and place, and is shaped by social consensus and regulation.
