Socioeconomics

 Some individuals are interested in studying how economic activities would affect or shape social processes. For example, socioeconomic factors may affect a child’s access to education or social mobility - a child from a low income family may not be able to afford as many extracurricular activities, tutorial groups or books and materials that a more wealth off counterpart may be able to do so; their parents may have a lower education level that impedes their ability to teach their child about their school work or communicate with their teachers; in a sense, this may affect how the child may fare at school, as their marks may fall behind other children who has already learned about the material in advance or further consolidated the materials through means outside the classroom; this may in turn affect whether they may go to as good of a school and also affect whether they would go to university; in a sense, although more people has an university degree or even master’s degree, education still plays a significant role in whether one would enjoy a good living standard or social mobility, and if the child are forced to work before completing their university degree because they cannot get in or the pressure to support their family, they may be less able to advance in the society.

 Socioeconomic factors may also affect the environment, for instance, deforestation - due to human activities and population growth, more natural habitat may be converted into land that is suitable for industrial works, agriculture, and commercial purposes; while it has contributed to economic growth, it has also negatively impacted the environment, as wood is frequently burnt and cut down that means there are more carbon dioxide in the atmosphere; animals may lose their habitats and are forced into endangerment or even extinction, this may have a butterfly effect on the living conditions of human as well.
