Summary

She discusses the current government system and its problems, arguing that the need for government innovation and transparency and collaboration are solutions to creating a more open government. In her lecture, she points out the gap between government and citizens, lack of transparency, and slow and inefficient decision-making as problems. To improve this, we argue that governments should share information and act more open and collaboratively to make efficient decisions. For example, "data.gov ," a U.S. government-led data-sharing program, has made data available online for analysis and research. In addition, the "Peer to Patent" project improved the patent screening process by utilizing the knowledge of experts and the public. According to this lecture, open-based collaboration between governments and citizens is a necessary innovation in the present era. He emphasized that efficient and accurate policy decisions should be made by using technology and the Internet to share information more actively and collect opinions from various experts. This will ultimately contribute to the establishment of an innovative and participatory government system.

Realization

Through the power of technology and the Internet, I have come to understand the importance of communication and cooperation between the government and the people. In the lecture, the speaker points out the problems of inefficiency and lack of transparency in the government system, and suggests ways to use technology and the Internet to improve them. This idea will go a long way toward sharing information and quick decision-making, and will go a long way toward promoting citizens' participation and improving government transparency. In addition, the success stories provided show how effective the direct participation of experts and citizens can be. Through this, I realized how much innovation and efficiency can be improved when building a more collaborative government system. This lecture inspired me to try to build a more cooperative and transparent government system than the existing one. In current and future policymaking, we acknowledged the key role of openness and interaction, and felt the need to plan and implement new policies or projects in accordance with these principles. In the end, her lecture presented a new perspective on government innovation and gave us an impressive understanding of the importance of developing an open government system through communication and collaboration with citizens. As these efforts continue, I am sure that greater changes and developments will be made in our society.
