Gender stratification

Gender 
It refers to the biological characteristics that can be divided into men and women. Usually, men have XY sex genes and women have XX sex genes, so men have male genitals and women have female genitals. However, gender is not just limited to biology; it also includes cultural and psychological aspects depending on the situation. Additionally, gender identity refers to what kind of identity one has about one's gender, which may be different from biological gender. Gender-based consideration of social value determinants that are not gender-related can lead to inequality or discrimination problems, so be careful and alert. Finally, the division of social roles, responsibilities, and authority by gender is a phenomenon that only occurs in some cultures. These differences in social roles and authority continue to debate various social theories such as human rights and prejudice.

Past gender stratification
As for the degree of gender discrimination in the past, various discriminatory practices have inflicted pain and oppression on women.
In many societies in the past, women did not have equal rights with men. Women were restricted in inheritance rights, voting rights, educational opportunities, and job opportunities. Also, in many societies in the past, patriarchal systems were maintained to strengthen men's power. This patriarchal system was aimed at forcing women to work or take on housework, and controlling men's life decisions such as marriage, divorce, and remarriage. In the past, many women did not have educational opportunities. In most countries, education was done only by men or upper-class men, and women's education was ignored or forcibly suppressed.
Female discrimination has taken place in various forms, and it is still present in some cultures. However, efforts to prevent such discrimination through more awareness and effort and to make society fairer need to continue.
 
Modern gender recognition
Today's perception of women has changed a lot compared to the past. More and more people are putting more importance on women's human rights and equality. The role of women has also changed a lot. For example, women have served in the veteran-to-changing military over the past few decades, giving them equal opportunities with men, and they have achieved a lot in economic activities and professional jobs. Many national and international organizations are also working to promote women's rights and human rights. For example, there are many laws in place to promote gender equality, and women's participation has been activated, giving them good opportunities regardless of gender. But there are still issues of gender discrimination, sexual harassment, domestic violence, and differences in abortion and human rights. More effort and change of perception are needed to solve these problems. Because everyone should be recognized as equal to each other as human beings.
