"The realization of and struggle for freedom and democracy has been the ideal of generations of young people with aspirations.

However, to this day, the road to freedom and democracy is still far away, and the efforts of one generation are obviously not enough. We have not found any nation that has achieved a happy life for all its people through a mere freedom and democracy movement.

The mere discussion of the concepts of freedom and democracy is enough to give us a great deal of serious thought for a while, and in the complex conceptual derivation, there may be countless options that can be justified in terms of the relationship between freedom and democracy alone.

We believe that democracy is not a concept that can be equated with freedom, but is perhaps more appropriately seen as a specific approach to a particular area on the road to freedom. The reason for this juxtaposition is to be found in the historical context of its proponents.

When the wind of learning from the East and the West allowed Europe to achieve a bend in economic and social development, many European thinkers and politicians, including Marx, explored the road to freedom for all. The important disagreement at that time was that some people believed that capitalism was the end of history, that the capitalist system was a perfect system, and that a world under the control of capital would be able to achieve human freedom; Marxists and many other camp thinkers and politicians recognized the inherent inadequacy of private ownership of the means of production, and that with the development of economy and society, there was an ineradicable The private ownership of the means of production itself is a natural and unbridgeable fundamental contradiction with freedom.

From the Chinese point of view, the basic idea that the world is public makes it easier for us to accept the latter argument, and the deep-rooted traditional Chinese culture of respecting labor and knowledge is obviously useful for the process of socialization of labor, and Chinese modernization is fundamentally a far-reaching exploration of the socialization of labor.

When we realize that the practice of Chinese modernization is the common wealth of the whole society, which is the result of the cycle of the collision and integration of ideas of human civilization through the "East learning from the West" and "West learning from the East", we will have more confidence in the true path of freedom. We will have endless confidence in the road to true freedom.
