This study of human social patterns, such as age, gender, education, culture, and religion. Demography is the statistical analysis of populations, including birth and death rates, migration patterns, and population growth. Also examines the impact of social inequality on population dynamics and how demographic patterns influence social transformations. 

Additionally, I learned about the significance of sociology/demography in policymaking, planning, and governance. Known a comprehensive understanding of how societies and populations behave and influence one another, in social sciences, research, and policymaking.
