 1.summary

: Social inequality is the uneven distribution of resources in society, and the criteria vary, such as gender, age, and status, which is also related to economic inequality and can occur in all societies. Income and wealth are mainly used as indicators of social inequality, and the pattern of inequality from an economic perspective is as follows. : Income gap, gender inequality, age inequality, health care and social class, food inequality. There is an opinion that the uneven distribution of these resources is a natural result according to ability. : meritocracies. However, these opinions do not fully guarantee compensation for all merit and may be related to corruption. Differences in natural status should also be considered. In a society that considers only natural status, social inequality is called caste inequality. As inequality occurs in a series in today's society, the extreme of social resources is intensifying. In addition, as spatiotemporal constraints decrease due to globalization, global inequality between culture and society can increase beyond a country. In order to reduce inequality, various methods of collective regulation and control are required, and the method applied varies depending on the situation.

2.interesting point

: While learning about social inequality, the most interesting part was the food inequality part. Food is an essential factor in human life and is directly related to human life. The uneven distribution of food that can directly affect human life, and the fact that food shortages are occurring, I think, means that food can be weaponized. If the social resource of food becomes weaponized, it will cause political, economic, and social conflicts and inequality. Also, this inequality is very fatal because it is related to life. I think it is important to come up with measures to solve this socially.

3.Discussion

What do you think about the weaponization of food resources? How would human life change if food resources were weaponized?
