W12.1 Symbolic interactionism

 1.Summary

Symbolic interactionism is the special use of shared language by humans to create common symbols and meanings in sociological theories. The symbolic interaction was conceived by George Herbert Mead. Mead argued that people's egos are social products, but these egos are also purposeful and creative. Mead's influence in making these claims is so strong that sociologists see him as the true founder. And Mead says that society is where all these interactions take place, and that the general explanation of Mead's composition describes the external social structure, class, and power. And abuse affects self-development, and the personality of the gathering rejects it so that it can prove its ability to characterize itself.

Opinions on Herbert and other theorists were newly revealed. First, Herbert is a Mead student, interpreter and social constructor. He coined the term symbolic interaction and presented an influential summary. And he said that the most human activity people participate in is to talk to each other. Groups are created by man-months, and it is the actions between them that define society. Other theorists include Cooley and Thomas. Cooley feels that society and individuals can only understand each other's relationships, which is called the mirror ego. The Cooley operation affected the mid additional operation. Thomas' main task is human motivation theory, which deals with the interaction between individuals and the social roots of behavior. He made many efforts, including explaining the working concept of adult socialization and providing the right perspective on deviance and disorder. And most scholars also say they agree with Thomas.
