 1. Summary

Social structure, in sociology, the unique and stable institutional arrangement of human interaction and common life in a society. Social structure is usually associated with social change, which deals with the forces that change the structure and organization of society.In a society, social structure can be organized around various factors, such as economic class, race, ethnicity. religion, gender, and age. 

Social structure plays a crucial role in shaping individual behavior and in shaping broader social dynamics. It can influence everything from how people interact with others to their access to education, jobs, and social mobility.

2. Interesting point

Social structures are distinguished into different structures: normative structures, ideal structures, interaction structures, and interest structures.

The division of social structures into different structural systems is mainly intended to help people better understand the different aspects and complexity of social organization and the interactions and influences between the various aspects. Such a classification allows us to better understand that society is composed of several different parts, and each part has its own characteristics and functions. These structural systems provide a theoretical framework that allows us to better study society, identify social problems, and develop effective solutions.

3. Discussion point

Different societies have different structural forms and patterns, but there are also some common structural elements. What is the relationship between the diversity and homogeneity of social structures? How to balance them?

    The diversity of social structures interacts with homogeneity, with diversity enriching society and homogeneity promoting social coherence. Balancing the two requires valuing diversity and safeguarding homogeneity while encouraging individual differences.
