It deals with the introduction of politics in sociology. Politics is the exercise of power in society, which occurs not only in relation to the state, but also in everyday life. Politics involves decision-making, practice, and distribution of power, which is done at various levels. The understanding of politics enhances the understanding of human interaction and the role of members of society, and plays an important role in the development and stability of the community.

The difference in meaning between authority and power was impressive. Authority and power are used in a similar sense, but there are subtle differences. Authority means social respect or influence, and power means enabling control or instruction to achieve a particular purpose. These differences are very important in sociology because high authority and low power increase the respect and influence of others, but may actually limit the authority to give control or instructions to achieve a particular purpose. Conversely, if authority is low and power is high, it cannot draw respect or influence from people, but it is high in the organization, so it can mainly exercise forced power to give control or instructions. Therefore, it is important to maintain a balance between authority and power because the interaction between authority and power affects performance and effectiveness within the organization and society.

Then how can we maintain a balance without being biased toward authority and power?
