1) Summary
Religious sociology is the study of religious beliefs, practices, and organizations using knowledge in the field of sociology. This does not assess the validity of religion, it merely compares conflicting doctrines between religions. In classical sociology, religion and its influence on society were studied. Related scholars include Karl Marx, Émile Durkheim, and Max Weber. In addition, there are various theories related to religious sociology, and first, functionalism studied the advantages of social organization. And rationalism tried to explain the wrong beliefs of the past in terms of the residents' lack of spirit. In recent years, religion has not only become globalized, but also the areas related to religion have diversified.
2) An interesting point
First of all, it was interesting to be able to study religion from various perspectives. In particular, it was especially true because the perspective of pursuing social stability and the view of people who believe in religion from an evolutionary perspective were contradictory. It was also interesting that religion was linked to various areas. It was interesting that they could present various worries and solutions related to family and gender issues as well as simple religion itself.

How much influence did religious sociology have on the development of religion?
As an atheist, I had no idea about a religion that believed in a god, but it was very interesting that this religion had a huge impact on history and society so far. To answer the question, the findings of religious sociology can be used to understand the complex interactions between religion and society, and to drive policy and social change. Religious sociology also promotes religious diversity and mutual understanding, and can contribute to understanding the causes of religious conflicts and seeking solutions. Religious sociology is thus recognized as an important academic field for understanding the development and its impact, and helps to understand how the role and position of religion change with social, cultural, and political changes.
