Economy refers to the way people use the environment to meet material needs. It is an economic system that has been realized in a country or elsewhere. It includes the production, exchange, distribution and consumption of goods and services in the region.


Capitalism is an economic and social system in which capital and non-labor factors of production or means of production are privately controlled; Labor, goods and capital are traded on the market; Profits are acquired or invested in technology and industry; Wages are paid to labour.


Socialism refers to various theories of economic organization, which advocate that public or direct workers own and manage the distribution of means of production and resources, as well as a society characterized by equal access to resources.

2) Interesting point


I think it's interesting that criticism of socialism ranges from claiming that socialist economic and political models are inefficient or incompatible with civil liberties to denouncing specific socialist countries. In the debate on economic calculation, Friedrich Hayek, a classical liberal, argued that the socialist command economy could not make reasonable economic decisions because it lacked price mechanisms and could not fully transmit information about price and production quotas. Ludwig von Mises held that a socialist economy is simply impossible because it is impossible to reasonably price capital goods because the state is the sole owner of capital goods.Hayek further argued that without diminishing the prosperity of ordinary people, and the loss of political and economic freedom, the social control of wealth distribution and private property advocated by socialists could not be achieves without reduced prosperity for the general populace, and a loss of political and economic freedoms.

Do you think that reduced prosperity and loss of political and economic freedom for ordinary people is related to achieving social control over wealth distribution and private property as advocated by socialists?

    I think socialism is more efficient than capitalism. Because in theory, it's convenient for everyone to work and share it together. However, it was interesting to hear that you criticized socialism as inefficient.
