9.1 Government_KIM MINJI

 1. summary

A government is a system or group of people that governs a nation, a means of implementing organizational policies, and a mechanism for determining policies. It is generally composed of legislative, executive and judicial branches, and most national governments have a constitution.

Political science has long been the goal of creating a type and classification of government, because the type of political system is not clear. And it's hard to identify the form of government, because many political systems are transitioned to government by political parties named after socioeconomic movements.

2. interesting point

Plato divided the types of government into Aristocracy, Timocracy, oligarchy, democracy, and Tyranny, which began with aristocracy at the top and tyranny at the bottom and gradually retreated. Among them, aristocratic politics is a form of government that gives power to a small number of elite ruling classes such as hereditary aristocrats and privileged classes. One of the types of ancient political systems is a political system in which the superior minority governs for the benefit of the whole. Many monarchies were aristocratic, but in modern constitutional monarchies, princes may have little substantial power. This was interesting because it was similar to Korea's past political system.

3. question

Plato said that five types of politics gradually regress, including democracy, which is now the most form of state. As Plato said, democracy is also gradually regressing, and I wonder if countries around the world will be using different political systems in the future.
