Introduction to Sociology / Economy is the study of the relationship between society and economics. This field explores topics like income inequality, global trade, labor markets, social class, and the impact of government policies on the economy, and aims to provide a holistic view of the relationship between society and economics.


2) What was interesting/what did you learn?

Learning from the information, about capitalism to positive and negative evaluations. The negative evaluation is mainly that capitalism leads to social alienation, economic inequality, unemployment, and other phenomena and economic instability, as well as social stratification. The positive evaluation is that because of capitalism, has given economic growth and given human brought a higher standard of living.

How do labor markets operate and what are the factors that determine wages, employment, and working conditions?

The labor market consists of employers and job seekers, and wages, employment and working conditions depend on market demand and supply, skills and experience, and the quantity and quality of the workforce. Other influencing factors include technological advances, labour laws, policies and the political environment.
