Introduction to Sociology/Being a Sociologist

1) Summarize

This article describes the future educational plans and what sociology degrees can do to become a sociology graduate, and the skills that sociology-trained college graduates can bring to their jobs (identifying trends and patterns, creating concise reports and papers).After reading this article, I realized how important sociology is and how many possible fields of work and study can be opened to sociology majors.


2) Interesting point

One thing that interests me most is: "One way to put yourself in good shape in the business world after a bachelor's degree in sociology is to major in sociology and business or minor in business.This will provide you with the certificates that the business recruitment department is looking for, while keeping you focused on sociology.People with sociological backgrounds have a very wide range of employment in business establishments.There are also many positions: marketing, statistics, research, employee relations, employee care, human resources, etc.With your sociological background and strong analytical skills, businesses are simply your employment paradise!Even better if you still have a good critical mindset and can help companies find problems and solutions!So I cherish the opportunity to study sociology now. We must firmly grasp this aspect of knowledge. I think it will be very helpful to our future employment.
