Social media and digital social: With the popularity of the internet and smartphones, social media has become an important part of people's daily lives. Platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn provide ways to connect and share, enabling people to communicate, share photos, watch videos and more in real time with friends, family and others around the globe. Digital social has also given rise to new social phenomena such as social media influences, social media marketing and social media mavens.

2.   Interesting point

Interactions on social networks are digital, but this does not mean that inequalities that exist in the regular world do not also exist on social networks. For example, a recent study found that women who posted sexualised Facebook profile photos were rated as less physically attractive, less socially attractive and less able to complete tasks than women who posted non-sexualised photos.

  1. Summarization      Government is like an umbrella term for a wide variety of institutions that make up the general control over a country. There are many different types of governments, with democracies, totalitarian regimes and everything in between. A type of government always has a ideal state, however in reality it often deviates. Basic political systems are autocracy, aristocracy, democracy, republics and federalism. Democracy can be either direct or indirect. In the indirect form, the people vote for representatives, who will then act on their behalf in making governing decisions. In a government, power can be divided into several functions. A commonly known model is called the 'trias politica'. The legislature, executive and judiciary powers are divided over several institutions.
