9.2 Connotation of socialization

 Socialization is a unified process of individual's cultural education and individual's choice and active adjustment to society. The connotation of socialization can be understood from three aspects: (1) from the perspective of time, that is, individual socialization involves the whole process of life development; (2) From the perspective of content, individual socialization concerns all the cultural heritage that an individual should have as a member of society; (3) From the perspective of relationship, individual socialization focuses on the interaction between individuals and society and the results of individual socialization. Human socialization, as the result of the interaction between individuals and society, is the unity of strong control and initiative. The characteristics of socialization are mandatory. (1) Human beings have no innate behavior pattern, so they will not naturally become social members. ② Individuals often lack initiative and self-awareness in the process of socialization. Second, the main function of socialization
